PDF-XChange is a PDF creation and manipulation tool for Windows. There is a new version of this product out, the 4. With the new version, developers decided to advertise 3 presentations of the product, namely the Lite, Standard and Pro. The Lite version provides only basic functionality. You can create and edit PDF files. The Standard version adds several features like adding watermarks to your pages, and the ability to batch-convert several files to PDF. The Pro version combines the features above mentioned and adds some interesting ones. For example, you get Microsoft Office support, which allows you to convert PDF files from within Microsoft Office, for example. PDF-XChange is an application that acts like a printer, so you won't really be editing a PDF file, but a regular file. When you want to save any file that you might be using with the program or any file that you might want to convert, you have to access the Printing functions of the application you are using. The printer driver will let you customize the way you want your file to look. All in all, this is an excellent solution for managing PDF files, and with the introduction of the Lite, Standard and Pro version, you can probably choose the one that is most adequate for you.
