Adobe PDF is the most popular file type used in the internet for storing E-Books and various documents. It has a lot of advanced features that make it the unchallenged in its field. There are a lot of similar applications being created, like the Microsoft's XPS viewer, but Adobe PDF is the best. Adobe Reader lets everyone look at the PDF files for free. But the main thing is that if you need to create a PDF file, you have to buy Adobe Acrobat application, very big software, just for creating PDF files. It is very costly.
Now, PDF-XChange is a software to create PDF files or convert PDF files from other popular formats, like the Microsoft Office files, from Word, Excel, etc.
It also features a PDF maker in the form of a printer (a virtual printer). Just click "Print" from any application that has a print function and you get a PDF file. This makes it really easy to use the program. But the quality of the files created is really not good.
